Little Book library

The New Brighton Area Historical Society thanks Troop 106 Scout Finn White and Scoutmaster Douglas White for Finn’s Eagle Scout project – a depot replica for a Little Free Library. It was recently installed next to our park bench in front of the New Brighton History Center in Long Lake Park. 

Troop 106 is from Christ the King Lutheran Church in New Brighton. Finn and his troop spent last winter planning and building the Little Free Library. NBAHS Vice-President Jim Nebel coordinated the project, provided books for the library, and completed the installation.

An additional item hopefully to be added is a geocache which is typically a container holding a number of items, that have been hidden at a location whose coordinates have been posted on the internet. This will add to the provenance of the depot.
