Trunk or Treat

NBAHS board members Peg Joyce along with Jim & Lori Nebel participated in the New Brighton Trunk or Treat event passing out candy (donated by Cub Foods) to approximately 1300 costumed kids accompanied by their parents (Oct 21st 2023). New Brighton Parks Department estimated 3000 passed by our decorated table.

We held a drawing offering some free massages (donated by Mind Body & Sole Massage) and approximately 100 entered by filling out their name, email and city. Half were from our general area and half from as far away as Forest Lake. We were literally overwhelmed a few times but all said this was a fun event and exposed many, many new people to our Historical Society.
